In college, I took one of those is-that-really-a-class classes called Leadership 101. For our final, we gave a presentation on our “career purpose”. I told my class about advertising.
At the end, the only question I got - or at least remember - was this girl in the front row who said with a concerned look, “You should really think about how advertising is going to help our world.” It wasn’t a question. And it was sort of rude. But she got me working…
Over the past 7 years I’ve been trying to answer her not-a-question…
I made snail mail cool again.
I rebranded the most recognizable green soda.
I gave a Hispanic heart to an American car classic.
I made an epic sub for the World Cup - mom for freestyler.
And I turned up the sound on the climate crisis - to the tune of 7 awards.
I’m a thinker, spray painter, boy Dad, sports podcast addict and the worst guitar player in Nashville.
I believe good work and good people can make a difference and really move people. And while I haven’t saved the world… yet… I’d love to work on it with you.
