Born in London with curly blonde hair and an accent… I peaked early.
Then we moved to upstate New York and I lost both, but found cotton candy blue skies and 100 inches of snow every winter.
Then Richmond, Virginia, where humid summers needed cool river floats.
Then college, where Amish horse and buggies slowed down careening college buses.
And now Nashville, where my wife and I added a little cowboy baby.
Why does it matter? Moving didn’t just make me comfortable in different cultures— it made me love them.
And that perspective shows up in my work:
We turned up awareness of the climate crisis,
to the tune of 10 golds.
We gave Hispanic heart to an American car classic,
We refreshed Sprite with an NBA-assist,
And made snail mail cool again, through social.
I say “we” because every project has been a true team effort. No copywriter is an island. I’m a solid palm tree. 🌴
